You can google “Joomla Template”, choose the one you like and download the installation package. Put in all the necessary information (for the Username and Password, put in “root”) and start installation.Type “localhost” in the URL bar, and it is directed to the installation page.Open MAMP, go to phpMyAdmin, and create a new database (e.g.Go to MAMP installation, find the “htdocs” folder, and copy paste the Joomla! installation package here.Download the Joomla! installation package from the official website.For our website, we built the website on MAMP. To install the Joomla! locally, we have to make sure either MAPM or WAMP is installed on the computer.
